For Couples or Solo Travellers
Skylarks singing, the sound of the waves, the smell of salty air. The feeling of wide skies merging with the ocean on the horizon. Welcome to our small farm by the sea!
The coast path is on our doorstep, and we have 3 beaches in walking distance. Our farm is accessed via a long track skirting a wooded valley, with the glamping accommodation a little walk from the car park. Wheelbarrows are available to transport your belongings to your ‘home from home’, during your stay.
As we only have adults during glamping season, and there are only 2 huts available to rent, this is an exclusive, peaceful and unique place to visit.
The two shepherd’s huts each have their distinctive decor, and spaces include a good sized bedroom with storage, a fully equipped kitchenette with fridge freezer and breakfast bar, gas hob and oven, a small gas powered shower, and a clean private compost loo. They both have woodburners for chilly nights. There are lights and charging points, and each hut has an outdoor seating area, a BBQ fire bowl, and privacy screens.
We live off grid with only solar power which limits how much electricity can be used, so please check before you bring a hairdryer! But if it’s a retreat from it all is what you seek, our farm is ideal. The local shops in Pendine are a 10 minute drive, though you may prefer to bring a supply of food and just leave the world behind.
The market garden produces eggs and vegetables seasonally, which you can buy on request. The farm also produces willow for basketry, workshops available on enquiry. The resident horses help manage the land which is in part a Site of Special Scientific interest. Botanists and birdspotters won’t be disappointed, in fact wildlife enthusiasts of all kinds will find much pleasure in exploring this wild coast.
On days where you wish to explore further afield, in less than an hour’s drive you find so many places of interest. These include Carew Castle, Pembroke Castle, the Preseli mountains, St David’s – Britains smallest city, as well as Tenby and Narberth, both fabulous towns with great restaurants and artisan shops. You can also visit Manor Wildlife Park, the National Botanic Gardens, Colby Woodland Gardens and so many more.
